IMHO:
Bernie seemed to enjoy it and to be at ease.
Hillary acted like she didn't want to be there.
Also, Hillary didn't answer some of the questions.
One was, since we bailed out Wall Street and the auto industry, would she favor a bailout for the steel industry.
She went on and on about cheap steel being dumped in the U.S. but never addressed a bailout for the steel industry.
Another, would we be more likely to go to war again with her as President.
After much blah-blah she said it would be her last option.
I wanted to address her poor choice of clothing these past few months, but that's probably sexist, so I'll not go there.

(213 posts)Men have it a lot easier - a suit, a shirt, a tie. Not much can go wrong. Though I did notice that Rubio wore a tie that was much too short recently. I thought maybe he borrowed from a pre-teen.

(39,451 posts)But we can't talk about hers.
I am going to say this I am concerned about her weight gain. Before you hide me Jury The reason I say this is concerning because it is a health concern. Just compare pictures of her when she was Secretary of State to pictures of her now and you'll see what I'm talking about. Has she released her medical records? I think it's safe to do so since everybody else has.

(34,195 posts)It's really noticeable when she turns sideways.
That might explain her choice of clothing.

(39,451 posts)People don't gain that much weight without a reason.

(383 posts)Hillary was slip sliding all over the place in her answers but did not lodge major attacks and lies about Bernie.
Bernie did very well, but was obviously tired. I think the Trump crap thrown at him was unsettling to him.
Hillary has gained weight on the campaign trail. Understandable with all the food and lack of exercise.
So her clothing reflects that.
I like the tunic and leggings look, so I am ok with her clothing.

(14,255 posts)questions, that there is actually a race. A year ago, I think the expectation was that Bernie would just run a token race, not be able to raise the money to compete with Hillary's massive war chest, and that there would be no need for a protracted and inconvenient primary. He would hand over any supporters he had, and whatever money he raised, to Hillary.

Gang aft agley.
She mostly looks irritated to me. Not presidential. She seems to take anything that is not actual praise as an insult, seems quick to anger. Again, not good for a president, IMO. She had to steal that shoulder-brushing thing from Obama - who was actually brushing off her campaign smears. And sitting for a bunch of hours while the GOP yammers on - that is what the entire four years would look like, except for the Third Way and war things that Hillary and the GOP would be only too happy to cooperate on. Again, IMO and all that.
This ridiculous business of Hillary having "a thick skin" because she has been vetted - sorry, but how Hillary feels about the vetting and the baggage is totally irrelevant. It is how all those voters feel about it, hearing it again, or for the first time.

I'm sorry but I don't believe a word she says anymore
