FYI Bernie interview when he first entered congress

I just came across this video and it's pretty cool. Bernie is being interviewed (by C-SPAN) and starting at about 4:20, the interviewer asks him what he hopes to accomplish in congress.

He lays out pretty much the same issues he's fighting for today. Consistency is thy name, Congressman Sanders.

This is a 40 minute interview, and it may be too long for most of you, but please at least listen to the first few minutes...from 4:20 to 7:24. Once you watch that much you will probably be hooked.

Enjoy!

"We have got to begin to understand that war is an abomination and that if nations have conflicts, there have got to be other ways to solve those conflicts, especially in the era of nuclear weapons and chemical weapons...other than killing each other."

Yes, he's a dreamer, and so am I. I don't understand why so many people think that killing is the answer to conflict...but for some reason it seems to be high on the list of human response to threat, fear, greed for wealth and power. Why can't we all just get along?
