My sibling switched, Hillary to Bernie!
I'm so pleased. Said we should be a family voting block instead of canceling each other out.
She really wanted a female president and thinks Hillary is smart and is being held to a higher standard than the men ever are... I've avoided arguing about that last comment, don't want to make her mad. Yep, Hillary is smart and I'd like a woman too, but there are these other issues that really matter...
So we talked about the Monroe doctrine, militarism and the campaign finance reform.
She's voting for Bernie in the primary. So psyched. Florida voter. AND I talked a new citizen (naturalized) into it too, encouraged him to go register a couple months ago. He voted today along with an 18 year old friend after my son's urging to get out and vote. My son's too young but his friend needed some encouragement to go vote... So proud of my son for that, too.
