Over the last several decades I've witnessed the goalposts moved further and further to the right.

If the pendulum swings between neoliberalism and rightwingnuttism, after 8 years of Obama the momentum would be swinging back towards the feces throwing monkeys we're seeing in Rethuglican debates.

be uncovered eventually, and climate change will force our hands. But that's neither here nor there at this time.

The choice in this election, both the primary and general, is not between neoliberalism and rightwingism - that's the projection. It's the narrative they want us to follow and it's illusory.

No, this is democracy on the left vs fascism on the right and it's blindingly clear who wins that contest.

True that.

Hopefully it's also blindingly clear who wins that contest. In the general election we need a much better Dem turnout than we're seeing in the primaries.

And then we circle back. Lol

Edit: All kidding aside, I am confident the majority of Americans want democracy, regardless of party. We are not going to vote for fascism, not as a nation. It's not who we are nor who we want to be. A relative few people want it but they are a tiny faction within the broader populace.

But all over the place, yes. There is that for sure.
