"I congratulate Secretary Clinton on her victory in South Carolina," Sanders said in the statement, going on to name-check a few of his major supporters in the state. "I will always be especially thankful for the courageous support of state Reps. Terry Alexander, Justin Bamberg, Joe Neal, Wendell Gilliard, Cesar McKnight, Robert Williams and former Democratic Party Chairman Dick Harpootlian."
Sanders said that his campaign wasn't over despite a huge loss.

by his absence in the state recently, this loss was expected. As you indicate, with low voter turn out which is customary for primary elections, Hillary came out better than I believe she even thought she would. We don't need to get upset about this one. Bernie Swept her in New Hampshire as we knew he would and she swept him here. Now, as Bernie says "On to Super Tuesday." It's not over, heads up, LiberalElite.

Which is probably the reason he was on a plane at the time of the voting. He knew it was a wash, and didn't mean shit in the big picture. Sure, it would have been nice to win, but,,,,,,,, who really cares?

Here in North Carolina, our March 15 primary will be on that Tuesday, when presumably more voters are working etc. really sad to see such low turnout on a Saturday. Understood that many folks work and have other obligations on Saturdays, but wow: I'd Love to be able to go to the polls on a Saturday. Weird.

Last week was the Republican primary in SC.

In the GE, SC will side with the Republicans.

The only thing the Democrats get out of SC is delegates. That state is RED. We shouldn't be surprised Clinton won. Her politics fits SC perfectly. She's RW and so is the state.
