The Clintons played the race card against Obama and they implemented terrible policies in the 1990's that have hurt POC as laid out by Michelle Alexander in her book and article.

Propaganda is a powerful thing. We're almost never told the truth so it's no surprise that some folks might not know what her background is. I'm sure some are just Clinton supporters in general but I'd bet a great many don't even know about the FBI investigation. That's how powerful media propaganda is.

The reason I use that example is because I've had people on DU claim that there isn't an investigation. That was a couple of months back, and I'm sure those people now know the truth, but how many people aren't on the internet or still don't know. Quite a few I'd bet.

They are almost the exact opposite of the country at large on the trust issue. I can understand voting for the devil you know, but I cannot understand 70% finding her trustworthy.

We are looking at a general election that features two mega celebrities. Policy be damned, it's all about name brand.

Feels like our country is getting more and more dumbed down by celebrity culture. Trump's political success is pretty good proof of this. Reality TV stars who do nothing of substance to earn their celebrity status.

they wouldn't be voting for Clinton, because she put more of us at risk when she backed her husband's policies. Many of which are the same as her's.

All I know is that misinformed/uninformed people make decisions for any number of reasons. I expect some of that.

What puzzles me the most is that people who are politically engaged, educated in civics, know what's going on and they still make the choice. The only reason I can see is fear, having given in to skepticism that we cannot create the world we want. Cynicism is powerful and very difficult to overcome because it is often masked as "realistic."

There's a time and place to forego idealism for realism. This is NOT that time. But if you're too jaded or just scared, you won't see that.

Some have nothing to lose anyway so they go for it.

Other than that, I got nothin. No idea.

Kinda tells you why it's a RED STATE. They also overwhelmingly voted for DONALD TRUMP!

Enough said.

Bernie can lose every Southern State and still win the nomination. He really doesn't "need" SC. He'll still get a nice chunk if the delegates.

On to SUPER TUESDAY! He's going to kick her arse on Tuesday.
