I wonder if Melissa Harris-Perry was a Bernie supporter? She walked out on her MSNBC show

because she hasn't been on the air for weeks because of election coverage.

Why couldn't she cover elections? Was she a Bernie supporter who was silenced? I can't wait to find out. Now that she doesn't work for the Clinton network, she will feel free to speak her mind.

<snip>
“Now, MSNBC would like me to appear for four inconsequential hours to read news that they deem relevant without returning to our team any of the editorial control and authority that makes MHP Show distinctive.”

This move is disagreeable to Melissa, who has accused MSNBC of using her as a “token” black woman.

“I will not be used as a tool for their purposes. I am not a token, mammy, or little brown bobble head. I am not owned by Lack, Griffin or MSNBC.”

Said Harris-Perry, “I have been deemed less worthy to weigh in than relative novices and certified liars.”

Pretty sure she is a strong Hillary supporter. n/t TDale313 Feb 2016 #1
Yup. She was just more professional about not letting it out as much on her show. Erich Bloodaxe BSN Feb 2016 #2
She may become one after this eye opening experience. DamnYankeeInHouston Feb 2016 #3

M$NBC post the firings of Olbermann, the First Schultz kerfluffle, Bashir et al...I drew the line on the last sweep out of Sharpton, Schultz, Reid etc......I decided, even though I had been a regular viewer of MHP, TRMS, Hayes (most days) and O'Donnell (most days)...I figured if "Lacky Andy" decided Not to fire the remaining lineup.....then they too were/are part of the problem and couldn't be trusted.
I haven't watched Any Cable or other corpoNews since last July.
It appears MHP also arrived at the same conclusion. I'd say this move boosted Her credibility by a hellava Lot, in my view.
