- in LBN. It has lots of comments and recs. Has anyone looked at this "sobbing Bernie Sanders volunteer" thread? I'm curious but leery of clicking on another snarkfest. Tks!

1. It's fine.

Essentially it's about a phone banker for Bernie named Chelsea. She apparently did a bunch of phone banking for the deep south and in her efforts endured a lot of Trump supporters or other cruel conservatives during her phone calls. She made a video describing the endeavor and gets a tad emotional during it. Most of the thread seems sympathetic.

The girl just had a bad day of phone banking so, my heart is with her on that. It can suck.

can be not fun. Most of the calls are routine but then you run into ONE OF THEM. It helps to have a very thick skin.

This poor girl was just traumatized by the dehumanizing comments of Trump supporters. She's very sweet and sincere. She said she was too upset to type it out but had to let people know what his supporters were saying about gays, Muslims etc.
