Hillary supporter pretty much confirms the "its just politics" reason for being dirty

This exchange on the thread: http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511291715#post184

wyldwolf: 184. this is surprising only if you don't remember every election in our country's history

AlbertCat: 192. Oh well then....

Everybody does it"....

So you admit she's running a dirty campaign, and you don't care.

Machiavellian business as usual.

Just what Sanders' people are sick of.

No vision of a better future, just more of the same GOP designed crap.

wyldwolf: 197. Oh well, then

So you admit she's running a dirty campaign, and you don't care.

I admit she's running a political campaign. Political newbes who enter the fray are not the arbiters of how dirty campaigns are defined.

AlbertCat: 200. I admit she's running a political campaign.

Weak.

So is Sanders.

wyldwolf: 204. but it's Sanders followers screaming about dirty politics and tricks...

... when it's actually political business as usual.

AlbertCat: 220. Sanders supporters...

... are sick of business as usual.

wyldwolf: 223. that may be so, but that doesn't mean it's 'dirty politics.'

People whose progressive left politics has been ratfucked and swiftboated for a solid year won't be eager to vote for the person who did it. That's just a fact. Without the left, the Dem party will be routed.

But they've chosen to go this route.

Protecting the establishment is more important than losing in November.

If Clinton does win the nomination many will hold their nose and vote for her but you will not see them going out to campaign for her. She will have to rely on what she has now and that won't be enough for the general election.

lying, dirty, unqualified candidate.

I will work my butt off for Bernie but if he is not nominated, I'm afraid that we're looking at a Repub presidency. Even IF Hillary is elected President (which will never happen)!!

Taking a 'pro' position is always better than an 'anti' position, it usually fares better.

It's been upsetting lately and we need to express our disappointment for sure, I just don't want to cross that line into 'anti' territory. That is what they want. That's the fight they know and can win.
