The Clark County Black Caucus, an organization based in Nevadas most populous jurisdiction, announced its support Thursday for Sanders in his contest against Hillary Clinton.
Yvette Williams, chairwoman of the caucus, said that Sanderss agenda most closely aligned with that of her nonpartisan group, saying the endorsement of Sanders wasnt a very difficult decision.
His message really resonates when he talks about income inequality, racial justice and prison reform, Williams said.

I found their endorsement letter.
Dear Senator Sanders, It was a pleasure for the CCBC delegation to meet with you and discuss very critical issues for our community in Nevada. Thank you for taking time to review the CCBC Platform and sharing workable solutions we can expect from you as President of the United State of America.
With continuing unemployment disproportionately impacting Black Nevadans, over representation in prisons and the justice system, low performing schools, and lack of economic opportunity, we are looking for a President that will dismantle broken systems, and provide access to a new deal.
A leader that will fight for wealth and racial equality, quality universal healthcare and lower prescription costs, debt free college education, jobs for American workers, restore and protect voting rights, and work to end racial injustice.
Your commitment to getting big money out of politics and restoring our government back to its people is an important concern of CCBC members, and although Secretary Hillary Clinton is well qualified, it comes down to individual choice. I am proud of our
members willingness to take a leadership role in the Nevada Caucus on February 20th and endorse the candidate of their choice. We look forward to standing with you and the thousands of diverse Nevadans on Caucus Day.
Sincerely,
Yvette Williams Caucus Chair
