5. Bernie spoke for over an hour at the Town Hall Meeting this afternoon

in Charleston, as a compliment to his Prayer Breakfast this morning with the leaders of the African-American community.

A very enthusiastic crowd of between 900 and 1200 (my guestimate.) The venue was full, and the crowd was on their feet a number of times. A good mix of older participants and younger, College of Charleston students. This may have been a last-minute add since I only learned of it through an email from the Sanders campaign yesterday evening. He is due to speak tonight in Atlanta at 7:00 pm.

Regardless, he held everyone's attention and garnered enthusiastic applause and shout-outs throughout his talk. Go Bernie!
