But man, my ignore list is growing like crazy this primary season. It's been good more my blood pressure and probably kept me from getting more than one hide.

If someone's gonna be flat-out nasty and intellectually dishonest, I no longer feel bad saying I just don't care to deal with it. Once the primaries are done I'll clear it back out.

I suspect a certain DUer has me on ignore, and if that's true, I don't know why. I've thought about sending a PM, but that seems terribly intrusive. I do occasionally respond to someone that person posts, and never get a responding post, which is why I think I'm on ignore. If I knew for sure, I'd never bother to respond to that person.

24. I only have a handful on ignore.

There are 4 or 5 truly stupid ones, trolls who don't contribute a single coherent thought but who are very prolific posters - and by putting them on ignore DU is cleaned up. I don't put people on ignore for supporting a different candidate, for disagreeing with me, or even, necessarily, for pushing the obvious baiting memes, so long as there's some redeeming value.

It's a judgement call - I like to keep the ignore file small - but there are 4 or 5 trolls, one of them a blatant self-admitted troll, who are just plain stupid, who contribute nothing of value, are of no consequence and are a waste of time.
