the "true believer acolyte/cultists" just want to see him for one last time before he fades into the North Woods oblivion.

and the banksters.

Those people were MAD. When he talked about how Wall Street only paid fines instead of anyone going to jail, I heard "criminals! frauds!" and other similar comments shouted in the crowd.

Damn straight we're mad and Bernie hears us!

Just as he has been right on the major issues for 50 years. The media kept his profile very low in 2015 by obsessing about Trump/Clinton.

The more real people get to see of Bernie, the more they like him. He's the Real Deal, unlike so many others in our political system.

He's really not going to be able to cure it for a bit because he has to give speeches.

But, it's not serious. It's post-nasal drip aggravated by his admitted acid-reflux issue. He needs to stop eating white carbs (bread, rice, pasta and white potatoes). That always helps me because it reduces the acid-reflux.

It's a cough due to irritation and not infection. I sound the same all winter because I live in East Tennessee. His is probably from traveling. Like mine, it's based on the crud in the air.

That he still HAS a voice is a testament in my mind. I lose mine and don't talk nearly as much.

Perhaps it's not unrelated. I remember his old campaign ads when I was growing up in VT before he had the operation. His voice was totally different for a while, really croaky (I remember my mom and I used to imitate it sometimes--out of love, of course).

But I agree, the guy gives speeches non-stop, and we all know his energy/volume level is high. That's gotta take a toll eventually.
