the death sentence and Clinton's position, job losses in black communities and much more. Today when Bernie was meeting with Al Sharpton, Ben was speaking with Jane Sanders at the restaurant in NYC.

Earlier R. went into the *'Super Delegates' topic, which caused, so far Bernie to receive equal votes in NH!

She also covered Bernie's astonishing fund raising totals, 20 mill. in Jan., more than 5 mill. since last night' victory.

Now, discussing Bernie possibilities in South Carolina joined by AA Jamie Harrison, Chairman of SC Dem. Party.

*Try to watch the show or repeat later tonight. IT WAS EXCELLENT with much coverage pertaining to BERNIE.

4. Well, Bernie's still made progress there esp. with black leaders like State Rep.

Justin Bamberg, the lawyer for police-shooting victim Walter Scott last year in Charleston. Prison policy, welfare 'reform', unemployment and poverty are huge issues in black communities, along with increased voting restrictions esp. for minorities since the SCOTUS gutting of the 1965 VRA clause, and widespread police shootings, brutality and harassment.

Today I saw Andrea Mitchell trying to get Clyburn to talk, no deal. Very important and the dealings now going on.

Bernie may fare decently with some whites there and in other states, incl. the south who are disgruntled from job losses and other issues. I wonder if this is what motivated Jim Webb's resurrection speculation today as an independent.

O'Donnell on now with Michael Steele, GOP talk and pharma lobbyist H. Dean. Bernie today having breakfast with Al Sharpton. *NINA TURNER on now.

Sanders Nina Turner of Ohio is. She will make formidable inroads in South Carolina.

Her intro. for Bernie in Cleveland is outstanding and historic, describing the problems that need addressing and Bernie's platform and determination.

This memorable and rousing speech with 'enough is enough!' charged the packed house and is a classic. The story of her grandmother b. 1913 who told her the way to achieve success with the three bones is a powerful personal testament to great wisdom, endurance and strength- the wishbone, the jawbone and the backbone.

15. South Carolina State Rep. JUSTIN BAMBERG Endorses Sanders Jan. 26, Drops Clinton
Thu Feb 11, 2016, 10:30 AM

Honesty, boldness and trustworthy are some of the reasons attorney and S. C. Rep. Bamberg decided to change his support to Sanders recently. The Vermont presidential candidate's position on single-payer health care is a critical issue in Bamberg's area and another main reason for switching his endorsement to Sanders on Jan. 25 from Clinton in Dec.
Rep. Bamberg was a prominent figure in the landmark effort to take the Confederate flag down from the South Carolina Statehouse last year.
Justin T. Bamberg was also the lawyer for the family of WALTER SCOTT, the police-shooting victim. Mr. Scott, age 50 and unarmed, was shot and killed in April 2015 while running away from North Charleston police officer Michael Slager. Slager was subsequently arrested, indicted, denied bail for months and then released earlier this month once a new trial date was set. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/justin-bamberg-bernie-sanders_us_56a6447be4b076aadcc7366b

Bernie and the team in SC need to earn SC. Bottom line. I think he has a good chance given the on the ground game but we need to keep at it!

the outreach and activity in SC from the Sanders campaign.

I especially liked and respected Clyburn's statement at the beginning of Mrs. Greenspan's query, "I have to be true to South Carolina".

Jealous did a great job. But Maddow? Right from the get-go it was, "I've known you a long time, you're a smart guy. So WHY are you backing Bernie?" What an offensive question. And then the questions that followed were more or less in that vein: "Yeah, but, but, but..." If he had come on to support Hill, it would have been, "My, what a principled guy you are. This endorsement makes total sense. Good for you."

Her thing about delegates was stupid as well, especially since she knowingly conflated super delegates with earned delegates in the outcome totals for NH, despite those two things being not remotely the same. NH was not "a tie." Bernie won more delegates. Period. The super delegates are totally disconnected from the voting process. Even her take then was "well, that sure is complicated!" and not a thought about why the Democratic party operates in such a fundamentally anti-democratic fashion.

She is a creature of the establishment. I wish she would just come right out and 'fess up to it. Really sad.

before the primary.

Nothing she does surprises me anymore after that.

About the super delegates, in 2008 they did put them in a separate category.

Rachel has gone over the edge, she is no longer the journalist she once was.
