2. Do they really believe that nonsense?

Sanders is making wild claims about being able to enact single payer healthcare, a $15 minimum wage, free college tuition and a host of other claims.

Sanders hasn't made any claims that he can do any of that. He's said he'll fight for it, that he WANTS to make it happen, but I've never heard him say once that he 'can' just wave a magic wand and make it happen.

Reminds me of the claims that he said economic justice could 'cure' racism. And yet when you ask for anywhere that he said such a thing, what you come back to is somebody else putting words in his mouth, helpfully 'interpreting' what he actually said into their own strawman.

ETA: Ah, and there it comes -

Level headed Democrats, i.e. those who have not bought into Sanders’ nonsense, may soon be confronted with a question. What is worse, a Republican who gets elected President now, or a Republican who would get elected in four years after a failed Democratic President who failed to enact anything of an agenda that carried huge expectations with all the baggage that would carry for the party.

The money shot. If Sanders wins, they want their fellow 'level-headed Democrats' to vote for a Republican instead of Sanders. They'd rather a Republican win than a non-corporate Dem.

...so loudly here.

No offense to actual, wild wolves with the particular metaphor, btw, since protection for wolves was one of the things stripped away by this "Republican lite" administration we have...

This is just another re-hash re-working of "NO We Can't!!" translation.. i.e. "Don't expect
any of this shit to ever change!! just vote for Hillary and shut the fuck up"

3. Evidently some are comfortable enough in this economy that they don't want any change at all.

Which might explain why they don't like Bernie. That's a nicer way of saying why they might be voting for their candidate. Crap, I said it. Why else would anyone oppose what Bernie Sanders has proposed. It's scary in some way, or they wouldn't be painting a negative picture.

edit- I'm wrong about my subject line. And this is something that I find bothersome. It's not a matter of comfort or wealth, per se, but a level of willingness to sacrifice for others, even if it's some minimal nominal amount. Ie., fair. Fairness is all we're asking for. Concentrated wealth while people suffer, is just plain inhumane.

With so many of them on ignore, at least I miss most of it, and don't wish to go searching for it.
