But we didn't let it stop us. We just shrugged it off, maintained our faith, and hoped that the best candidate many of us have ever seen would continue to rise in the polls.
Now, in light of the 22% New Hampshire blowout, it's time for a little celebratory dance.

(6,409 posts)Supporters of any political candidate tend to be a little too intense, too inclined toward blind loyalty, too unsympathetic toward the opposing candidate, and so on. I perhaps give Bernie pass on a couple things, but it's nice to support a candidate who doesn't make me feel I'm compromising every time I turn around. And it's really nice to support a true progressive. For the first time in 35 years, I feel as if my party might come to its senses.
