get a chance to hear him. We are so very lucky, it seems the door to democracy is closing faster and faster.

Once people get to hear him, they are instantly impressed and when they learn that he isn't just talking, they are sold.

her position vs those that are also running for the nomination.

Those that run from free and open debate have something to hide so let's hope they all show up.

let's hope the others will agree with him also. The people have a right to see where the candidates stand on the issues. We don't need these scripted 'debates' that are not debates at all, but merely moderated, boring 'questions' where the candidates don't really interact. I don't know what you call that kind of format, but it's boring.

We've been marginalized, divided, bullied, lied to, ripped off. Suddenly there's sanity. It feels so healthy.

It feels like we are in the end of the Truman Show. Finally able to see the reality beyond the veil of lies.

Last night we watched the PBS documentary on Geraldine Ferraro (2013) for the 2nd time. How skilled, powerful and sharp she was, Mondale too. Those were the really dangerous years and determinate elections, looking back when all's so clear of course. But we have to move ahead, finally.

(For the VP debate, since GWB is so tall and Gerry 5'4", they agreed to a ramp to elevate her, never would have known it was so natural. I walked by him once in the aisles of a pharmacy in DC c. '82- very slim and tall, scanning men's shaving products with a couple secret service agents).

Geraldine Ferraro was one person that totally escaped my attention, sadly.

I love encounters. I once saw Pete McCloskey in a tiny country store. He drove off in an old beat up vw bug.

Part of a pioneering group in law, advocacy and public service like Barbara Mikulski, Eleanor Smeal, Shirley Chisolm, Pat Schroeder, Barbara Jordan and many others.

I think it may be an important distinction too. We have learned enough about the dirty tricks of the conservatives since then to be able to handle our own in situations like that. Not only that, but we have more resources at our disposal, not that that would help in a debate format. But Bernie has congealed all of what we've learned, and simply cannot be pushed off topic. Or even worse, kowtowed into what I saw in that clip. I think it was great she stood up, but now we are fighting back. This is what I've waited...forever...for.

We're up against the love of money. I hope the American voters are smart.

and sincerely. No grandstanding, no watering things down.

Now, the challenge will be to get people to really hear what he's saying when those who are opposed to these views have so many weapons of mass distraction at their disposal.
