So who else has been blocked from the Hillary group?

Wow, are they touchy or what?

On one of their many posts about sexist attacks on Hillary, and I said:

"Sure. It's just that you can only get so much mileage out of these complaints"

Cue the outrage.

I don't tend to pay much attention to which forum I'm in since I enter most threads through Latest Threads. I made some mildly critical comment about Hillary and was blocked from the Hillary group. I hadn't even realized I was in there to begin with or that it was considered a "safe" space from criticism.

I know now!

I didn't even know there was such a group or what group rules were.
Someone posted a flat out lie about Sanders. One thing I like about DU is that lies are usually refuted almost instantly.
So I took it upon myself to refute. Told to quit it as it was a safe haven group.
Told them there should be no safe haven for lies and I was outside looking in.

If you wish to debate about a candidate and criticize them, do it in GDP, that's why it's there. Going to a specific candidate forum to troll and then wondering why you're banned seems a bit disingenuous.

They were quick with me. I don't block anyone because the more bizarre posts I read, the more I realize how far out some people are. I actually enjoy it. And you see the same Hillary fans coming up with the same excuses for their poor decisions.

The sad part of it is that we have so many people in this country that just refuse to take their blinders off. They are what other country citizens see in disgust.

They're bad enough in GD-P. Which brings me to something else I've noticed lately. They claim, mathematically speaking, that it's something like 80%-20% Sanders supporters vs. HRC supporters but there are so many negative Sanders posts in GD-P, you'd think they had the numbers advantage or at least 50/50.

Most safe havens appear to block only for posts actually made in the group, but given the reports of bannings I've seen here, the Hillary Group seems not to be following that practice. So not only do they have a safe haven where you're not supposed to be an ass about HRC, their "safe haven" is apparently threatened by anything said anywhere on DU.

The title of this thread in the Hillary Clinton Group is "This is a question every Bernie Sanders supporter must answer". I think the question itself is silly (essentially trying to blame Sanders for anything any Clinton opponent says). What's really amusing, of course, is that it's posted as a bold challenge to Sanders supporters -- in the safe haven group from which so many Sanders supporters have been blocked.

I occasionally think about trashing that group, but its comedy value keeps it on my screen.
