Bernie Sanders

Are they even real? Or a figment of someone's imagination? I've supported Bernie with my time and my money for nearly a year and I don't even know what they are.

I have yet to meet this "Bernie Bro." If he wasn't in Iowa, I doubt he exists.
I'll keep looking though

(10,007 posts)Indeed, outside of a very small number of important issues where her record is actually good, you dont want to talk much at all about her actual beliefs and actions. Watch how many progressive endorsements of Clinton simply ignore all of that. Its much better to re-direct the focus away from Hillary Clintons history of beliefs and policy choices onto the repugnant, stray comments of obscure, unknown, anonymous people on the internet claiming (accurately or not) to be supporters of Bernie Sanders. The fact that it may be an effective tactic mostly because most Democratic media figures are equally fervent Clinton supporters and thus willing to unite to prop it up and endorse it does not make it any less ugly or deceitful.

or whatever?
I don't understand how HRC or her supporters can broad brush another candidate's supporters like that. Of course, there always is a small number of obnoxious assholes but it certainly is not an entire supporter base.
Heck, the same can be said about Hillary campaign supporters.
Seems like there's some hypocrisy going on with this silly meme.

Truly sounds like the product of someone's desperate and delusional spin machine.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that has no clue what it means. I had a feeling I wasn't alone.

(41,140 posts)Lord, MSNBC Mathews/Tweety has on DWS, looking confident. And he just pulled out a paperback Webster's Dictionary, and read (dem) socialism. Blah, blah. Newly revealed pharma lobbyist Howard Dean is trying to smooth it over. MSNBC is horrible.
"Claire McCaskill will bring out the hammer 'n sickle!" he says. Now Andrea Mitchell is adding in. What a 'group'.

Clinton's staff and supporters are her worst enemies sometimes.

The whole thing is a transparently constructed trope made possible by the fact that on the internet, anyone can claim to be anything and then proceed to say anything and this is a constant on the internet, cats and socks. I understand the sense of loss that branch of the Party feels now that they can't get votes by demonizing LGBT and proclaiming their belief in God and I get that they would like to find or create some group fill that need they used to fill by going down to Rick Warren's church to praise Rick and oppose equality but I think this is poorly crafted and they should have shopped around for a more coherent minority to bash at. They should ask Rick, he must have a hate list.

Alright, maybe not so much. But evidently it has to do with the idea that Bernie's supporters are mainly young males who ridicule or bully Clinton supporters. I have seen that kind of behavior rarely with the Dems. I see more of it coming from Republican supporters than either Democratic candidates' supporters.
