Bernie stops speech to help a man who fainted at his speech. (Original Post) dorkzilla Feb 2016 OP
You can see his reaction is genuine and instinctive. He is a good person, no question. Jackie Wilson Said Feb 2016 #1

the tone of that Gawker piece? How do people make the leap toward this being a staged publicity stunt?

It gets more and more difficult to discern satire. It's almost as if you have to know the particular outlet's position beforehand.

So it tends to be edgy in a very sarcastic, New York kind of a way. I'm in New York City born woman, so I get that kind of humour. Certainly not to everybody's liking. However they do have some really good semiserious sister sites, like Jalopnik (automotive) io9, and Lifehacker.

Sorry but I certainly didn't see the satire in the article OR in the hateful, cynical comments section either.

Their best and brightest writer, Hamilton Nolan, is a HUGE Bernie supporter. You can search his name in Gawker and you'll come up with a bunch of really well written stories/opinions on Bernie.

who was almost stampeded in a crowded press area. And she's a small woman. The video of it is on the story thread. I'm sure Mrs. Greenspan appreciated Bernie's assistance, even if she did say on the night of the Iowa caucuses that if HC wins IA and NH it's major yet if Sanders wins it could be tragedy. What professional ethics.
