The vitriol is starting to get to me.

I can barely read GDP. This is the first primary that I've paid close attention to, and I have to ask, was it this bad in 2008 between Hillary supporters and Obama supporters?

I might have to take a break from GDP to regain my sweet disposition and equalibrium

2008 set the stage for this...there are some festering wounds...

just take some time-outs occasionally and it all fades...kind of

DU was a nightmare back then. That was an era referred to as "The Primary Wars" around here. I remember reading DU at the time and just feeling terribly sad about the way members "talked" to each other. The bitterness ran deep pretty much up to the time of the general election.

I believe that once this is over, we will all make peace with each other, because our common enemy, (& yes they ARE that) Requires extraordinary unity to beat the Klowns in capitalist's clothing...Whatever idiot puppet of the ruling Klass they choose. Stay the course, and smack the headwind out of your face...

Couldn't stand it.
I only came back a few weeks ago. I forgot my log in info and had to make a new account.

Even though it doesn't always work. I know I'm not the only person who still sees posts from the Hillary Clinton group on the front page, despite having it on full ignore. Somehow, I have a suspicion that Hillarians who have this group on ignore don't have the same problem.

Although I will say it's pretty clear from the "concerns" being circulated about single payer, that Camp Weathervane realizes Bernie is, once again, espousing a popular position.

It's the "Clinton" way. I left this place years ago when DU 2 was changed to DU 3 from a moderated system to a jury system. The jury system sucked then, but is even worse now.

Primary season here is knock down, drag out mean and nasty. That's why there's GD P(rimary) ...to separate all the vitriol from the regular GD forum.

BERNIE BROUGHT ME BACK! If he's not the nominee, I'm outta here again for 4-8 years.

This too shall pass. Just need to buckle down and get Bernie some wins, because ties will not be enough with the establishment against his message.

I think I'll mainly be hanging out here, with occasional forays into LBN, GR, and GD, for awhile. I'm collecting PA signatures to get Bernie on the April ballot, and want to greet potential signers in a cheerful, positive frame of mind. Which means no GDP for me for awhile!
