In Case You Wondered How to Make Your Own "Bernie Band" Clip-On Hairdo

I invented these for the last watch party, and they were a hit:

You could probably guess how they're made, but . . .

1. Get some plastic headbands. A little width seems helpful; I found these for $6.99 for a dozen:

2. Get some polyester fiberfill, or anything else white and fuzzy; I had this left over from a project a million years ago, and made 48 Bernie Bands using just the fill that was in the top few inches of the bag:

3. Pull a tuft of poly out for each side of the band. Put solid lines of white glue along the band where you want the tufts. Press the tufts on firmly. Let dry (I laid them in a box on layers of wax paper in case the glue dripped, then just brought the box to the party).

Now you too can be a Bernie Beauty!
