(21,849 posts)I would have liked to have attended but didn't know about the event.
Any ideas on how I can stay informed on Bernie events in NYC? I don't do Facebook.

(18,133 posts)Did you hang around at Zuccotti for any amount of time? I only got to stay for a short bit as my wife and son were tired and cold. It was very energizing! I used to spend lunch hours and some afterwork time there back when OWS was camped out. Was awesome to see that energy again.

It's been bubbling for quite a while. OWS blew the lid off. Let's hope we can take advantage of it and get a people's president!

(14,691 posts)started the march on time, or even (according to my watch) a couple of minutes early. In my experience with marches for whatever cause, that's "historic" all by itself.

(18,791 posts)To all that posted pics...and how nice it it to put a human face to a faceless user name! Very nice!
Here's hoping that this is indeed a nationwide movement and that people will vote, vote, vote.
Voting in mass, for candidates that are focused on 99% of Americans...is the only way we can begin to make real changes.
