A Facebook post from my one Hillarian friend

on learning that the Sanders campaign is seeking secret service protection: "And thus, you will no longer see Mr. Sanders in airports, train stations and the like. He is now part of "the establishment" that he hates so very much." Good grief...

The whole against the establishment mentality, the thrashing and acting silly on stage.

The Beatles stole most of the Kinks credit in our opinion.

And the Beatles started out as the original boy band. LOL.

I do like their music, but, had I been a teenager (or even born - my parents were teens/early 20s in the 60s) when the Beatles came out, I probably would have given them the same affectionate pat as I do to One Direction (who I do listen to because I am the mother of an 8 year old teeny bopper who adores them).

I would say probably 3/4 of her political posts are attacks against Bernie, certainly more than her pro-Hillary posts. She's a Democratic Party purist, so Bernie's "socialism" is really upsetting to her. She had a fit here in Alaska last year when the Democratic nominee for governor joined up with the Independent nominee as a joint ticket, even though everyone knew that was the only way to defeat the horrible Sean Parnell (Sarah Palin's successor) who would have most certainly won in a three-way race. Sure, it would have been nice to have a Democratic governor instead of lieutenant governor, but this is Alaska, for heaven's sake. We can't always get what we want. Which is why I personally think Bernie will do much better here than Hillary.

I'm banned from a protected group which shall be nameless. But blogs like this are supposed to represent freedom of speech and not everybody likes Bernie - though I personally can't imagine not liking the guy, and we have to respect that.

As long as we get rid of the obvious paid trolls and uphold rules against ad hominem attacks on the people posting here, then we're good.

unless one of our fellow Bernie fans is feeling a little morally superior. I don't ordinarily name-call, but Hillarian seems like such a perfect descriptor, like calling someone an Alaskan or Californian or vegetarian. I don't see why anyone would think of it as derogatory.

For that matter, isn't the term "Clintonian" in fairly common usage? Whatever...

Her statement fails on so many levels. Perhaps not so much anger, as desperation? (maybe a bit of both)

Ask her why she is getting so riled up, since the Hillary bandwagon claims they can't possibly lose.

Seems like that's just in time. It is better than having some Bible-drugged, holy-rolling, homophobic, xenophobic, anti-abortion misogynistic, heavily armed right-wing crazy militia type hurt him in some way. I mean look at that whack job that went into the PP clinic in Colorado Springs. We don't know what is crawling around in some of these peoples' minds.

Again, I'm very glad he finally has this protection.
