HB 1131 is being stalled by the Gaming and Commerce Chair, Derek Stanford who is not scheduling an Executive Session for the bill.
Without an Executive Session, the bill is dead, and we will again, be the only recreationally commercial state without the basic right to home grow.
What can you do? Email Derek.Stanford@leg.wa.gov and ask him politely to schedule an Executive Session for HB 1131. Then follow up and call his assistant at 360-786-7928 and ask them to bring your request to his attention.
