So I was talking to some customers

who had recently been to Colorado. They told me that marijuana is not legal in all parts of Colorado. Seems it is not legal on federal land, and there is a whole helluva lot of federal land in Colorado. They got pulled over, had their marijuana confiscated and got to pay a 200 dollar fine. So they decided to see if it was just them and, nope seems the officers stake out and pull people over as soon as they hit federal land. They have a nice little scheme to make more money. Anybody else heard of this happening?

1. Marijuana isn't legal in any part of Colorado actually, because it is illegal at the Federal level,

covering all 50 states not just Federal land even.

3. Most Feds around here are busy with more important things.

Got a National Park, National Forest, and BLM land all around me, and I haven't noticed any increased enforcement activity. Most of the time when I am in the forest or on BLM land, I don't even see a Fed. I wouldn't smoke a spliff while I was going through the park gate, but it's not like they are setting up checkpoints and tossing people's vehicles left and right. Maybe they have more spare time on the Front Range, or your customers did something stupid to draw attention to themselves.

I suppose their appearance alone could have, they have tattoos, long hair and piercings. I guess I don't think along those lines, so that never occurred to me.

5. i haven't heard anything about people getting hassled up here in the northern front range

i don't even see deputies driving the highway though arapahoe, let alone rangers.
