and has been too good at making enemies of fence sitters to have my support.

Venezuela was lucky to get Chavez. I just wish he'd lived longer and they'd chosen a better successor.

10. I'm a Leftie. Let's just say I have 'instincts'. Some questions are not really questions, they are

designed to elicit certain responses. Eg, you oppose the War in Iraq, you 'love Saddam'. You support Chavez, 'you're a commie'.

This Group is getting a lot of attention lately.

I will answer honest questions, but not 'trick questions'. Lol!

Our FP right now is based on neocon/Globalist world dominance. Unfortunately some Dems are falling for the propaganda they rightly rejecrted when Bush was in the WH.

Let's just say I recognize an attempt at a set up when I see it.

Smearing this group is a primary goal of a few people here.

What I support is all nations being left to figure out their own problems.

But our policies target oil rich countries and prefer dictators over democratically elected leaders. See our South American policies under Nixon/Kissinger/Reagan eg.

Chavez freed his country from the control of Global Oil Cartles. That has never been acceptable to the Far Right.

The question in the OP imo, was designed to get the 'lefties' to respond in a way that they could be characterized as supporting the enemy.

If I'm wrong, the OP can tell us where he stands on Maduro.

12. Yes, in complete agreement on all points.. but what made you think of that line from that old film?

Sorry I didn't articulate the question well in the first place in previous post. I just think it was such a perfect responder.. and what a great image.. it's just I wouldn't have thought of it out of the blue for any reason, much less as the perfect rejoinder in response to the OP question.

maybe you saw the film again recently or maybe someone else used it?

13. Oh sorry, yes I did see the film recently. It has been shown several times over the past few

months. I watched it a few times because I think it's a classic.

That whole scene and everyone who was a part of it, was hilarious. All the actors were outstanding, imo. 'WHY is it a trick question' Lol, 'would you like me to 'explain'? 'I would LOVE for you to explain', and Vinny: 'Watch this'! Lol!

I found out recently that Lane Smith, who played the southern prosecutor, passed away not long after the film was released. I looked him up because I thought he was excellent in the role. I wondered what he was up to now and was sad to learn he had passed away.

So when I saw this OP, Mona Lisa came to mind!

3. US Foreign policies, that's a good topic for this forum.

Do you support the US interfering in the business of Sovereign Nations, eg, Bush's attempted coup of Chavez?

How about Kissinger/Nixon's policies, and Reagan's in that part of the world?

And certainly not fully. He's done a few things I think were bad already, but he's certainly got people working against him as well. Time will tell which way he ends up going, champion of the poor or oligarchic dictator pretending to be a socialist.
