" Higher ed leader says education cuts can hurt job growth" article in the Charleston Gazette
Very good article in the Charleston Gazette about the proposed massive budget cuts to higher education system in West Virginia.

"Hill said that if the proposed cuts of more than $11 million in the 2015-16 budget bill are adopted, higher education will have absorbed $44.6 million in budget cuts in three years.
Were really in trouble if the budget continues to be reduced, he said, noting that West Virginia ranks 16th among the 16 Southern Regional Education Board states in faculty salaries."
Chancellor Paul Hill is also quoted in the article as saying "he likes to tell high school students that with $24,000, they could either buy a pickup truck, or pay for four years of in-state tuition.
After four years, youll have an old pickup truck, or you can have a college degree that will serve you for life, he said."
