Several months ago a section of Hollywood Blvd, was restored to the way it looked in 1970 for this film. I drove down there and it felt completely normal to me because it was just like it was when I was I high school. Kinda fun.
The Supply Sergeant store kept some of the old signs the movie replaced because they thought it made the store feel more like it’s original self..

already something of an established actress, in the sense that she's had leading roles in several high-profile films.

That being said, you have to remember that IRL, Sharon Tate was only 26 years old when she was killed by the Manson Family, so it makes perfect sense to cast a younger actress in the Sharon Tate role. Margot Robbie is currently 28, so she's in the right age range to portray Tate.

It's how old she is in relation to the real life person she's playing.

If you had an actress in her 40s playing her, you'd get grief for casting someone so much older than Tate actually was.

the first Quentin movie that I'll be seeing in theaters. Anxious to see how Steve McQueen is portrayed. Hoping to see Charlie Said with Matt Smith as Manson.
