negligentdischarge.com

http://negligentdischarge.com/

The url kind of says it all. This website is by a long time gun aficionado who was always safe, until he wasn't, so he decided to document it as a warning to others. It also includes other stories sent in by readers about their own negligent discharges.

Very graphic and not for the squeamish. You've been warned.

After all the time, pain and money spent on expert medical care, he's still in the bag with LePew.

Unmoved by the gore, myself.

the left side and found the NRA and kids and guns stuff. He's the same as he always was, now he's just telling his 'war stories.'

It might impact someone who has never seen much damage done to anyone, but possibly not at all. The guy has a good support system and job, family to take care of him, etc.

I'm thinking of all the poor who get shot and disabled, lose their jobs, etc. This guy hasn't hasn't endured any more pain and suffering than half the injured people in this country, even when it wasn't their fault.

That's why he didn't learn.

5. tribute?

Sounds more like an egoist who wants to talk about his medical problems, & creates a website tribute as if everyone is interested. Let's not talk about you let's talk about my operation.

mr negligent discharge: Anyhow, after arterial bypass surgery, they cut off the major blood flow to it, but there were several smaller ones still feeding it. I also knew that the more I walked the faster that new veins would grow to help replace the one they took out.. It did, and so I needed the invasive angiogram. Finally I got the blood vessels fixed. Now all I had to worry about was the nerve. I don't think it will ever get better, but since I've retired it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it did when I was walking all day. I notice the numbness every day and deal with some localized pain every day. It's there all of the time, but I try to ignore it like I do the tinnitus - ringing in my ears. It's always there but hopefully I can ignore it as much as possible.
I've included new pictures of my wounds. There is a dent where the fourth bullet hole was. My right leg is still bigger than my left leg. It still has a lot less hair. At least it still works, huh?

I created this site to share my Negligent Discharge story as a warning to others

Some of us wonder whether it's just a tribute to yourself. See how I can handle pain? what I've been thru? You do realize a lot of your fellow gunnuts threw you under the bus with words like stupid & careless & idiot?

Anyway, things like this aren't gonna do one iota to offset negligent or accidental gunshot injuries, cause there's no teeth to his advice outside basic common sense regarding gun handling. Okay, maybe one iota, but that's 'negligible'.
The careless will live on no matter what, & the rare momentary distraction or inattention will strike no matter who is at bat.
