No, there's not a way to do that. At best, you can ban disruptive posters from a hosted group. n/t

(149,632 posts)1. I think I understand what you're asking, and the answer is yes.
Up at the top of the page, there's a tab labeled Forums & Groups. If you click on that, all the forums and groups on DU will be displayed. Then you can pick the one you want, and post in it.

What group are you trying to get to?

to viewers of that group. For example a thread posted to my state group that would have no relevance to anyone not living here or interested in purely local events.
