As for Meta-Discussion... been in there and can't figure it out. It looks as if people go there to air grievances, but so much arguing it is hard to see if anything is getting resolved.

Wait, EarlG? That is one of the names of the Administrators on my mail that told me I could start posting. Do they post a lot?

It is the forum for airing grievances, about the site or other members. If you want to know what to expect from any forum or group, just click on About This Forum/Group and it'll tell you what to expect.

What are your interests and where are you from? The major forums mainly discuss news/politics/issues, but we have groups for just about anything, from cooking to reading/writing, specific politicians, environment, pets, science, history, religion (or not), genealogy, music, TV, computers, every US state, Canada, overseas, you can pretty much name it. Do you have issues/addictions? LOL. We have groups for those, too...


LBN (Latest Breaking News) is the best for learning the latest about what's going on in the world, while GD (General Discussion) is where news/issues are discussed the most, but we have a group for just about anything else.
