I think this happens when Advanced search is disabled, as it has been for most of the time since the last debate.

2. It used to put up red text and a link to see the edits.

3. There is no red text indicating edits made. Rec list does not show anything.

This is added upon 1st edit.

This is added on second edit. I see no red edit information at top of post. I do see it when my page is my post only, and not when viewing all. I do not see edit information when viewing other posts either in view all or just post 1 on this thread.
