Anyone seen somthing like this?

Wrote, for me, a fairly long post yesterday and hit post and only the first sentence posted. I proofed and all looked good except possibly the spelling. I deleted and moved on. Wish I had saved first.

Just an FYI.

it was a less than sign followed by 3 dashes to create an arrow pointing to the left to highlight one of the lines of text. When I hit post everything from right at the symbols and after disappeared. I couldn't even remember what all I had typed because I had it all formatted and tabbed. I don't even remember what it was about now, I was so discouraged after that.

Worst one is when the network hangs up while I am previewing, it asks me to go back and repost the form and the text vanishes. Sometimes, it is still there.

I do recall typing in some "special to HTML" characters and not seeing stuff in the preview. I do hope that when this happens, the text is still in that big text box, despite vanishing in the preview or post. ( in Preview mode, look for it at the bottom. After a post, "go back" )

Worst goof ( on phone ) is when I punch the wrong button, (with my fat fingers) go somewhere completely different, and lose my typing.

My solution, which only works on desktops is called the GhostText browser extension. As I type (I just invoked it) the text I am typing appears in my text editor of choice (in my case SublimeText) and vice versa.

It's for experienced computer users to install and get working, so I am not going into any detail, but the neat thing is that the text is saved "forever" in the text editor.

but am not really in the habit of using (except when In MIRT) If I see this is becoming more of an issue I will start using again. I do too much financial shit to have my text automatically logged. I am not a pro like you.

Thanks,
