There's been some brouhaha between a blogger who leads (and is known as) Skepchick (real name: Rebecca Watson) and Richard Dawkins that professor friends who follow me on Facebook have been asking me to comment on.

they have pretty much held their privilege up for all to see that they are clueless and an unwillingness to hear what is being said to them. so they hear an argument and can put up an article like this, full of misogyny, that a woman participates in, yes, and use it as argument. they are incapable of recognizing what they are using to make a point.

So she wants to slam some feminist skeptic she 'vaguely' knows about, but follows on twitter, who was slammed by a-sometimes-amusing-but-still-a-chronic-asshole, kind of half-ass slams the asshole, goes back to her hard to parse out, WTF critique of the skeptic feminist and ends with a Tidy little Moral of the story? Fuck that. Quotes her 'daddy' even. Clearly some major issues there. I recommend immediate therapy to wash out the self hate.
