India: new comic has rape survivor as main character

A new comic book in India has as its focus a rape survivor named Priya.

From the article:

Indian-American filmmaker Ram Devineni, one of its creators, told the BBC the idea for the comic came to him in December 2012 as India erupted in protest against the brutal gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old student on a bus in Delhi.

So gorgeous-- such an excellent way to teach. I'm totally getting that one--I love comics, and this one will be powerful.
