Why can't a woman who says something terrible just be a terrible person?

Why is she always turned into a Femme Fatale?

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025268768#post24

I asked this question and received no answer in a thread about a woman who wants to commit infanticide and who also apparently has a "pretty mouth." *cue the banjo music*

One of the posts, that is now hidden, read "she's nothing special without makeup" and posted a photo of her face.

The message, of course, is that it's a shame that such beauty can go to waste, as if normative female beauty is a social gift which, when left unfulfilled, is disappointing. As if the statements she's made about ethnic cleansing are that much more unfortunate because she should know better as a beautiful woman.

What the fuck are we doing.

the first link had the only info that was needed which was about a right wing politician making hateful comments.

not surprised about the 2nd link considering the source . but how does adding that change anything ?

mouth is being use that way?

"Goes for both sexes" is a false equivalence. When we complain about men, it is not mind-numbingly common to pack those complaints with comments about men's sexual characteristics.

She's not always turned into a femme fatal.

Sometimes people do that.

I think we're about to see "the use of 'always' is wrong" replace the "not ALL men" tactic for derailment and distraction.

I imagine you believe your point to be relevant to the conversation in some constructive way which either strengthens of weakens the actual thought provided, rather than simply deconstructing grammar for its own sake, yes...?

Being the first value, this is where so many get confused. They may really, really think they're nice persons, or are making a valid point commenting on the attractiveness or personal physical attraction of women in certain circumstances-- no matter how egregious or sick. Because they literally have not bothered to learn any other way.

Hey-- there's a teaching moment for our stalkers-- don't do that. It's stupid. Never say I don't do my part.
