Six million sex workers in China, hiding in plain sight.

There are up to six million sex workers in China, hiding in plain sight.

Prostitution is illegal in #China, but the BBC has uncovered evidence of organised prostitution at independently run spas located inside a number of well known, Western-brand hotels.

Our investigation shows that sex is being bought and sold from third party-run businesses, operating from within some hotels.

The Ramada, Intercontinental and Kempinski hotels all deny any knowledge of the practice.

Reporter John Sudworth says, "One of them tells me she's 20 years old, and has sex with up to three clients a day".
