Military wives go topless for PTSD

http://www.cnn.com/video/?hpt=hp_c2#/video/us/2012/10/04/military-wives-go-topless-for-ptsd.wsmv

ya. i dont normally put up videos from cnn, commercials and all. BUT... this is so sad.

the wife that lost her hubby, says: i felt like streaking in front of the generals. maybe they would listen to nude women.

firstly, i am all for taking emotional health seriously. and pretending men do not have emotion is crap. always on their side.

second, i have a big issue what is happening to our soldiers in this continuing decade war or two.

but last.... that women feel the only way to get a mans attention is to strip down.

i am not dissing what these women are doing to be heard. it is sad to me, though.

and do breast cancer checks: If you want a man to pay attention, put some tits on it.

It really should be offensive to men, but... Brawndo's got electrolytes. It's got what plants crave.

It won't work. It'll be a news bite, something to laugh about, some attention focused on PTSD, more on how hot these women are, or are not, with no policy change.

every one of these events, there is the talk of the naked, and a casual mention of the issue, regardless of what it is about. but, these women have reduced themselves to a body and the message is lost.

...the guys end up getting what they want, titillation. Once they've seen our tits, they're satiated & our message is forgotten. And the women who have stripped, have contributed to a culture where we have to expose our private selves (PARTS) to get any attention. Note, however, that this attention is not the same as getting respect & action on said issues that we are stripping for.

I do not know how this knowledge got lost.

And why this younger generation thinks that this will empower them. Sad.
