7. referring to his economic socialism isn't 'red-baiting'

...critics who claim this are, themselves, equating socialism with communism.

It's enough of a criticism he's making, to differentiate his own economic policy from Sander's 'socialist' based approach. I think that's perfectly legitimate to make that distinction. Socialism has never been Democratic policy - European models or whatever.

O'Malley has zero obligation to carry Sanders' water on his made-up political moniker. There's no reason at all for him or any other candidate to present that politically volatile association in the best light for Sanders. That's his own responsibility to defend.

It pisses me off when people seem to ass-ume that MOM is some kind of attack dog for Bernie.

right?!? I get sick of hearing he's Hillary's vp in training or Bernie's this or that...

..he's a candidate. One I wish wasn't ignored by the media or shut down so much at the debates.

4. I agree with O'Malley that we should have more debates.

Obama barely won the nomination in 2008. There were 26 debates.

If there were only 6 debates then (as now), Hillary Clinton probably would have won.

But I don't think there are enough debates to make O'Malley a winner.

11. I think if the DNC wasn't in Hillary's pocket she would be in third place

I don't know if MO'M would be trailing after Bernie or if Bernie would have been trailing after MO'M. I suspect MO'M would be in second place though.

14. Has his polling improved significantly after any of the debates?

Why would a reasonable person conclude that holding more debates would help O'Malley when we know that he hasn't benefited from the ones which were already held?

BIG TIME and feel we all lose another perspective because of the DNCs actions.
