(3,811 posts)The reason being that the easiest, most politically expedient, and fastest way to spur the economy is to shovel money at the banks and corporations.

As you said in the OP, "It's the economy stupid." If for any reason the economy stumbles under Sanders, whether by something he does or not, he could be a one-term president and the cause of economic justice could be effectively killed for a generation.
I think it's very unlikely that Sanders would have a Democratic house, and even if he has a Democratic senate, it won't be a supermajority. He'll have to contend with fierce resistance, interminable confirmation hearings, etc., just like Obama.
