Reince Priebus pulls out the "dependency society" card on CNN interview today.

Looks like they're going full on for the extremist base as Romney's campaign continues to fray and approach full on implode.

Caught a snip in passing. CNN's "Situation Room" I think. Anyway, Priebus was running on about the US becoming a "dependency society".

CNN's interviewer took a pretty mild shot at clarification but missed the obvious question - Who are the dependency society? Who do you mean here?

Some challenge on specifics would have been good, I think. Sound bites get way too much leeway these days. One liners, little or no substance.
