When I dare asked one of the host of the Hillary forum why she banned me, she ridiculed me and laughed at me. She made a big old joke about me wanting to know why I was banned. First time in 14 years that I've ever been banned on DU.

Anyway Hillary supporters will ban you and ridicule you just because. So I'm never, ever going to vote for that woman or any of her minions, even if she gets the Democratic nomination. Before they banned me and ridiculed me, I might have.

They don't have to even tell the person why. If that isn't cowardly, I don't know what is. I don't agree with Buzz Kill, er click er what ever, very often but banning is cowardly. If I could change the policy I would make it a requirement that you can't ban a person without a fair and impartial reason.

I got banned because I thought power was NOT a conservative thing. And then the Hillary group founder ridiculed me about asking why I got banned. I think yeah if you are going to be inappropriate you should get banned but if you merely want to talk about the perception that power is conservative that should NOT be the bases for your being banned.

Anyway, if you were a RepubliCON and wanted to make a mess of DU, you would start a forum and arbitrarily ban people. Since almost 80 percent of DU members are Bernie supporters, starting a Hillary group then arbitrarily banning people would be a good way to create chaos and piss everyone off. I suspect something like this is now going on.

93. I think that people like to be banned
Thu Dec 31, 2015, 04:21 PM
Dec 2015

Look at how they think it is a badge of honor.

Like this is the highest achievement to get. It just tells me how little they do in real life if they get off on being banned.

I think the GDP is where to hash out any debate. The only way I don't get upset by what is posted in any group I am not associated with is by not reading it. I used to read the AA group, because as a Latina I felt some kinship with them. My people's struggle in not the same or as hostile as theirs is, but they really help us all by being so pro active. I found, imo that it was filled with a huge anti Bernie sentiment, so I thought better of posting there with my avatar. I posted less than four times and it was very respectful of the group. I was a guest.

The Hillary group is out of bounds for me. Why would I even want to argue a point there? I believe in spaces for like minded people to gather and talk amongst themselves. If you want to read and learn what they think, go ahead. But it is like going into the Atheist group (I am an atheist) and arguing about our lack of faith in a Christian God. We get it, there are Christians out there. We want to hang out and talk without defending.

So if you behave badly according to the host, you get shown the door. It is their house.

It is not necessary to doubt someone's integrity based on a cursory glance at their posting history. Someone did that to me when I finally got off the fence and decided for Hillary, and I just find it so unnecessary to attack people and basically accuse them of lying. What is the purpose of that?

To the OP, when I got off the fence I went the other direction, but I'm glad for you that you made your choice. Go vote with a clear conscience and may we all unite next November behind the winning candidate so we can kick some Republican ass!

And instead of replying as requested, you bloviate instead.

1) Clinton has a history of lying from Chelsea at 9/11 to Bosnian sniper to the 'loss' of the Rose Law Firm documents.

2) Clinton has a history of scandals from Whitewater to her husband's affairs to having an email server in her personal residence.

3) Clinton was on the wrong side of history with regards to LGBT civil rights. She supported DADT & DOMA. She said marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman. This only changed in 2013, a mere two years ago.

4) Her social networking campaign this year is full of pandering from Rosa Parks logos to mi Abuela to fucking Kwanza logos.

5) She supports the neocon agendas from her cheerleading for Bush's Iraq War to the 'lets attack Iran' amendment support to her 'we came, we saw, he died' Libyan policies to her 'regime change' in Syria.

So I ask you again, which of these are lies. None of them. So weep for yourself. You are the 'base' that wants to elect this woman as our next president.
