New York polls are interesting because although it's not a state whose outcome is in doubt, it can be a gauge of how well Obama is doing relative to 2008 levels.
In 2008, Obama won New York by 27 points, so it appears that he is doing just as well as in 2008 right now.

(33,497 posts)compared to the 1.5-2 million votes Dems win NY by now. A lot of Rockefeller Republicans back then. In 1980, I think John Anderson cost Carter New York.
