(4,551 posts)Most of their anchors (eg. John King, Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper & David Gergen) are in the tank for Romney. Soledad O'Brien is one of the only people I trust over there.
But I went to vote on their poll though, because it's important to send a message that Obama is the one to trust on foreign policy, and we should take the opportunity they are giving us!
If Obama is at 70% that means that he is not only winning Democrats on this issue, but Independents, and some Republicans too. Right?

(12,008 posts)Like their broadcasts, it's primarily for entertainment purposes. I think participating only legitimizes their claim to be engaged with actual journalism, as it is tacit legitimization of all of their actions.

(12,008 posts)They'll report whatever suits their predetermined narrative. If this "poll" does not, it will disappear, and nothing about it will be available to influence anyone whose opinion wasn't already made up. At this point, it's just rabid political junkies like us and those who for whatever reason pay attention to the CNN site paying any attention.
In the end, they'll always do whatever they have to do to turn the largest profit.

(4,551 posts)That's why Obama's numbers may be coming down a couple points.
It won't be enough to erase Obama's lead though.
