Should Debbie Wasserman Schultz resign as DNC chair?

It's been pretty obvious her thumb was on the scale for Hillary from the start, but that computer kerfuffle last weekend was dropping a house on the scale.

Progressive voters are the base of the Democratic Party, but we haven't had a progressive chair since Howard Dean.

We need someone in that position who more than just the fat cat donors can trust.

Should Debbie Wasserman Schultz resign?

Bernie's campaign screwed up by stealing data and taking advantage of a security flaw.

If DWS should step down, then Bernie should end his campaign considering the fact that stealing data is a more egregious offense.

That's a matter of opinion. If she should step down because she's done a poor job, then Bernie should end his campaign. Stealing data like that is a much more egregious offense.

What's Debbie's piss-poor performance as chair of the DNC got to do with Bernie's campaign????

Bernie represents the best interests of me, my sister, my nephew, and my mother. DWS represents the interests of people who have no idea what my relatives are going through.

the least amount of people would watch.

It is clear to me, undeniably clear to me that DWS is orchestrating this to try and help Hillary.

Then she made the ultimate blunder to make the data issue public as it has harmed BOTH candidates. I am sure DWS did this to only harm Bernie, but it backfired.

You know me, you know I will work for the Hillary campaign if I have to as if lives depend on it because they do, but this is an example of where it is best to admit your mistake and move on.

AGain, does NOT matter that the Bernie staffer did this on purpose. We ALL Agree Bernie himself would never knowingly allow this.

Why it doesnt matter is ONLY because if we ONLY care about occupying the WH next time around, we dont make our family business public like this.

Not having good software companies is really small potatos compared to utterly failing to mitigate congressional losses. Protecting her own seat and failing to support three other Democrats running in Florida would also have been good reasons.

We need a 50 state DNC plan like Dean.

Enough of this Third Way crap.

That was an argument I was making here in 2009 and early 2010.

There were a lot of goddamned blue dogs and DLC jerks giving Veto cover to the GOP. Some of the same people here screaming for party loyalty were giving cover to those same congress-people for screwing over President Obama and the party.

They were the same people shrieking at us about "wanting ponies" during the healthcare debate for wanting single payer.

I wondered if the third way democrats didn't want to carry the GOP for a bit to assure they would have people to triangulate with in order to maintain their power. Because if the GOP had been defeated more completely, then why would we bother with triangulation?

They failed to take the great blue wave of 2006 and President Obama's victory in 2008 as signs that the electorate was biting at the bit for some serious systemic change.

It was intensely frustrating.

It is simple reality that the DNC leadership cannot - absolutely cannot - maintain credibility as a neutral arbitrator when you have a DNC Chair so close to one of the campaign and so hostile to another of the campaigns.

This would be like having as the DNC Chair a former Sanders campaign manager who had publicly expressed disdain for the bluster of Hillary's campaign. - Sensible and fair minded people would not buy it.
