Very liberal voters prefer Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders (55% to 36%)

Hillary Clinton leads with 56% to 28% for Bernie Sanders and 9% for Martin O'Malley. Clinton has dropped slightly since our last poll from 59% to 56%, while Sanders (26% to 28%) and O'Malley (7% to 9%) have each seen 2 point gains in their support. Clinton leads with every group we track. The race is closer among younger voters (50/35), white voters (51/33), and 'very liberal' voters (55/36). Clinton has more dominant advantages with seniors (68/21), African Americans (67/17), and voters who identify as just 'somewhat liberal' (65/23).

Also people who don't want someone who openly disrespects the constitution before even being sworn in.

But I suppose we should stick to the "issues" like you did, like those pesky "Berning Man Bros".

He obviously holds us in contempt along with the democratic party he is using for his own purposes at this time.

The long, troubled history of Bernie Sanders and the 'ideologically bankrupt' party whose White House nod he now seeks.

7. I suspect it's because ...

... liberal voters want to get things done. Liberal voters want experience and competence.

Hillary haters gravitate to Bernie and (based on the claims and public announcements here) there are quite a few who would rather lose to a republican before having the eeeevil Hillary in the WH.

You know ... corporatist something something, oligarchy something something, 1% something something, conspiracy something something, Benghazi something something, emails something something. Coronation!

9. Nope. This poll uses a likely voter model, so the headline is wrong.

It is not "very liberal voters". It is "very liberal 'primary voters'", which means they must be registered Democrats who pass PPP's "likely voter" screen.

But hey, who needs accuracy when there's a story to tell.

you can make that claim all you want but who you vote for defines who and what you are. Hillary Clinton is no a liberal and Bernie Sanders is. More Clinton propaganda from PPP.
