(16,286 posts)Wall Street, I am afraid.
This is why I support Bernie.
However, like Bernie, if she is the nominee I will fight for her as if many lives depend on it, because they will.
I will fight for her to give Bernie someone to work with, as we know what the alternative will be like.
But then again I am a politically mature person who sees the big picture.

(13,039 posts)This mature citizen, that also sees the big picture, will not vote for her under any circumstances.

(24,411 posts)...which is why I found the comment hilarious.
Trying to be hip and cool by working in a pop-culture reference is kinda fun.
The irony is that her "Sith Lord mentality", aka, "You're either with us or against us," is evident.
I doubt she really understands Star Wars. The series is pro-peace, anti-war. Her neocon buddies, including Robert Kagan, represent the Empire.
Besides, Bernie looks more like Yoda.

She could have said "Kittens are cute!"
or
"Rock and roll is here to stay!"
for the same effect.

(6,399 posts)It's a part of the process and has always been.
We get people that go on and on about how cold and calculating she is. And whenever she does "show" moments of humanity (of which she does often, but simply isn't what's presented as "news" she gets derided for it.
Now, if she had said that any other weekend than this weekend it would have been out of place. But it's pretty much rightly timed.
And it's really no different than Obama's comments about it on Friday.

(19,460 posts)I think it was her way of either letting us know she had seen the new movie, or she understood that fun people like herself would be seeing it.
