DataGate - What Most Voters Will Think

Frankly, I think the percentage of voters who give a damn about it at all is incredibly small. Most people will only understand the bare minimum of what happened and will not look any further into it. Here's what I think will be remembered from the whole data issue in two headline-style statements:

Sanders Staffers Steal Clinton Data
Sanders Apologizes; Fires Staffers

Net effect on people's choice of primary candidates = 0
Net change in probability of becoming nominee = 0

Only political wonks are going to dig into this at all. Most of them have already made up their minds. The media will return to its navel-gazing over the GOP clown car. That's way more interesting.

I don't think it matters, frankly, for the reasons I stated in the OP.

You might think differently. It's an opinion.

or not. I don't know her, and neither do most voters, to tell the truth. Only political wonks give a damn about her.

This is confirmation of people's belief that the party machinery doesn't belong to the people.

This belief is not confined to democrats.

I think this viewpoint is huge. Or in the case of Republicans, "yoooooge".
