2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumNice to see all DUERS back to discussing the issues
rather than creating conspiracies because they can't imagine their side making a mistake in a campaign. We are human. We make mistakes. And to deny this is to leave yourself open to exploitation. Thankfully the candidates did the right thing and agreed to take responsibility for what they know, and what they don't know - they will investigate together. And I do think there are trolls stirring the DU pot: on both sides. Just as they have in the past.

(118,659 posts)It is not a conspiracy to say there are GOP trolls on the DU. We see them often. It is however a conspiracy to blame Clinton when Bernie's camp had an overly zealous employee they fired and the meta details of the databreach were unknown.

(118,659 posts)that the GOP gins up anger between Bernie and Hillary camps should not be a surprise. So too the old adage that to avoid exploitation by psychopaths you have to know yourself, the good and the bad. I simply believe the GOP use the tools of the psychopath and likely employ many. And that we should all be warned.

(36,853 posts)why, yes, a troll certainly does.
You don't seem to know yourself very well.

(118,659 posts)being troll like? Seems the Democratic adults on the debate stage completely dialed down the issue by doing just what I asked of the DU last night and taking ownership for what each of them could in the databreach issue. Then onto the issues.
